Ever wonder how people can act, dance, and sing all at the same time? Interested in seeing if musical theater is for you? This camp will focus on using acting skills while singing and dancing within musical theatre. Along with learning new skills and playing fun theater improvisations, the students will prepare a medley of choreographed songs and acting scenes from FROZEN to perform ON STAGE for family and friends to enjoy!
Camp Dates: March 24-28, 2025
Times: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Camp Size Limit: 16 Students
Shoe Requirement: Black Jazz Shoes
Food: Students should bring 2 snacks, a sack lunch, and a water bottle each day.
Camp Showcase: Friday, March 28, 1:15pm
Showcase Location: Will be held at Colorado Spring Christian School Auditorium.
Showcase Tickets: Tickets are not needed to attend the Camp Showcase so families can invite guests to attend the performance without cost!
Costumes: Students will provide their own costumes for the show. Most costumes can be created from items around your home or from Goodwill.

If a student is withdrawn from Spring Break Camp BEFORE March 1, the tuition will be refunded less a $100 non-refundable deposit.
If a student is withdrawn from Spring Break Camp after March 1st, no refund is given. However, if ACT is able to fill your spot with another student, then ACT will refund the tuition less the $100 deposit.
Military Discount*
Students who have a military parent qualify for a 10% discount.
Sibling Discount*
We offer a 10% discount for each additional sibling who participates in classes.
*Students may use only one discount per camp and all discounts will be applied to the equal or lesser value class.
Musical Theatre, Acting, Voice & Dance
Matt Dunn is gracious for the opportunity to join the Academy of Children’s Theatre. Matt is an actor, singer, dancer, and teacher from Orange County, CA. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton and has performed in various regional productions around the Los Angeles area. Matt started singing and acting when he was 8. He has a vocal performance background and has sung at venues like The Hollywood Bowl, The Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. He trained under a direct student of acting mogul Konstantin Stanislavski and has extensive dance training in tap, jazz, and ballet. One of Matt’s favorite performances was with the original production company of Rock of Ages on contract with Norwegian Cruise Lines. Matt has a passion for teaching and has 10 years of experience as an acting coach, voice teacher, and dance instructor. Apart from theatre, Matt is the proud father of 3 children and owns a local dog training company with his wife, Jenny.
