Active Military Discount*
Students who have an active military parent qualify for a 5% discount off of the first class. 

Multi-Class Discount*
We offer a 10% discount for each additional class a student takes in one semester. 

Sibling Discount*
We offer a 10% discount for each additional sibling who participates in classes. 

*Students may use only one discount per class. The initial deposit doesn’t qualify for a discount and all discounts will be applied to the equal or lesser value class, however, we will use the largest percentage discount applicable.

Foundations of Acting

FOUNDATIONS OF ACTING
Grades 4th–12th

This 2-hour seminar is designed for those new to ACT or have not completed a previous semester Acting class or Acting camp for 4th Grade or older. Taking this seminar will qualify as the prerequisite to all ACTING related classes for 4th grade on up. (Previous MUSICAL THEATRE classes or camps do NOT count towards this prerequisite.)

  • Students NEW to ACT who will be registered for a semester ACTING class THIS semester.
  • Students who are moving up from the 1st-3rd grade into the 4th-6th grade.

Foundations of Musical Theatre

FOUNDATIONS OF MUSICAL THEATRE

This is a fun and creative class filled with a combination of great vocal technique, dance coordination, and acting for the stage. Students will learn a variety of Musical Theatre skills and techniques throughout the semester. The class will prepare musical selections from Alice in Wonderland to perform in the Semester Showcase.

Prerequisite: Students must have ONE of the following to take this course:

  • Foundations of Musical Theatre Seminar  (This 2-hour seminar is offered the week before class begins. You can sign up for it when you register.)
  • Previous Musical Theatre class for Grades 4-6.
  • Musical Theatre Camp for Grades 4-6 (An ACTING camp does not fulfill this prerequisite.)

Dancing for Musical Theatre is more than just dance techniques. It also includes connecting with the audience to tell a story through dance and facial expressions.  Students will develop their jazz technique layered with Broadway-style tap moves! Students will prepare and perform selections from Disney’s musical, Frozen 2, for the Semester Showcase. Put on your dancing shoes and join us for a fun and energetic class!

Costumes: Students will be required to provide their own costumes for the show. Most costumes can be created from items around your home or from Goodwill.
