MASTER CLASS: Audition Development
6th Grade – High School
PLEASE NOTE: This class is for students who are serious about developing their audition skills and willing to put in the necessary preparation. Since students will take turns in front of the class, students will also need to be at a maturity level where they can be quiet and respectful while other actors are performing.
Course Description:
As directors, we have seen the best and worst of auditions. Even some of the best actors need improvement on their audition skills in order to compete in the theatre world. We want to give our students a chance to develop their skills so that they will have the best chance of landing a great role!
This 2-day seminar is designed to strengthen your audition skills so that you can bring your best to every audition. Students will learn how to choose the right monologues and vocal pieces, prepare them, and perform them. Each student will come to the class with a prepared and memorized 1-minute dramatic or comedic monologue and a 32-bar musical selection to use during the seminars.

Saturday, March 5, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
