FALL CLASS

Acting: Grades 9 - 12 (High School)

Acting Class: A Fairly Odd Tale

This is a fun and creative class filled with a combination of improv, games, and acting for the stage. Students will learn a variety of acting skills and techniques throughout the semester. The class will prepare a show and perform an original, one-act play ON STAGE in the Semester Showcase.

Script Description: A Fairly Odd Tale is an original one-act comedy. As so often happens, it starts with a forest. Characters from the most loved stories find themselves wandering through the woods, being accosted by trolls and wolves and evil queens. Things get really confusing when stories cross and it all becomes a desperate battle between the “good guys” and the “bad guys!” Cowardly princes, overbearing Fairy Godmothers, lazy dwarves and cat-fighting princesses….can they work together in order to save themselves?
