This will be a fun-filled class full of dancing, singing, and acting. Musical Theatre is a class filled with exploring, learning, having fun, being creative, working together, and performing. Students will learn aspects of the theatre and what it takes to develop a character that is believable on stage and will prepare acting and musical selections from Annie to perform ON STAGE for the Semester Showcase.

Dress Rehearsal: Tuesday, November 28, 7:30 – 8:30 PM
Semester Showcase: Wednesday, December 13, 4:30 PM
Semester Showcase Location: Sand Creek High School Auditorium
Showcase Production Fee: A production fee of $55 will be charged on November 1st. Production fees will be discounted for families with multiple students or multiple classes ($45 for a second class or student and $25 for the third, with a maximum of $125 per family).
Showcase Tickets: Tickets are not needed to attend the Semester Showcase so families can invite guests to attend the performance without cost!
Costumes: Students will be required to provide their own costumes for the show. Most costumes can be created from items around your home or from Goodwill.

A 5% discount will be given if semester tuition is paid in full at the time of registration.

Active Military Discount*
Students who have an active military parent qualify for a 10% discount.
Multi-Class Discount*
We offer a 10% discount for each additional class a student takes in one semester.

We offer a 10% discount for each additional sibling who participates in classes.
*Students may use only one discount per class and all discounts will be applied to the equal or lesser value class.
Acting & Musical Theatre Instructor
Sarah is thrilled to be teaming up again with ACT! She received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Design from Winthrop University and has worked professionally as a director, actress and designer of the stage for over 20 years. Some of her most memorable roles include Mary Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, and Maria in Sound of Music. She has experience in film, commercials, audio book narrations and radio voice-over work. She received both a Kennedy Center of the Arts award and a Caroline Award for her lead actress role as Ruth in Blithe Spirit. Some favorite directorial memories include Into the Woods, Hello Dolly and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
