Tap, Jazz, and Ballet are foundational in musical theatre, so they are important skills to develop. Here is your chance! This is a non-performance class that is designed to increase your technique in tap and jazz. There will not be any in-studio or on-stage performance.
NOTE: Though this is a combined class, the training will be curated to each student’s level, so every dancer will be challenged to the best of their abilities!
Prerequisite: This is a technique class for students up-to an intermediate level (Level 1) or advanced (Level 2), so students need to have at least 2 semesters of dance training in tap and jazz. To join this class, student must have a recommendation from a teacher.

Semester Showcase
This is a NON-PERFORMANCE class, designed to perfect student’s technique. There will be NO performances on stage nor in the studio.

Since this is a non-performance class which ends in April, there isn’t a tuition payment for May or a Production fee.
A 5% discount will be given if semester tuition is paid in full at the time of registration.

We offer a 10% discount for each additional class a student takes in one semester.
Sibling Discount*
We offer a 10% discount for each additional sibling who participates in classes.

Musical Theatre, Acting, Voice & Dance
Matt Dunn is grateful for the opportunity to join the Academy of Children’s Theatre. Matt is an actor, singer, dancer, and teacher from Orange County, CA. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton and has performed in various regional productions around the Los Angeles area. Matt started singing and acting when he was 8. He has a vocal performance background and has sung at venues like The Hollywood Bowl, The Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. He trained under a direct student of acting mogul Konstantin Stanislavski and has extensive dance training in tap, jazz, and ballet. One of Matt’s favorite performances was with the original production company of Rock of Ages on contract with Norwegian Cruise Lines. Matt has a passion for teaching and has 10 years of experience as an acting coach, voice teacher, and dance instructor. Apart from theatre, Matt is the proud father of 3 children and owns a local dog training company with his wife, Jenny.
