Improv Camp: Grades 6-12
Acting Outside the Lines Improv Camp
This is a fun and creative camp filled with a combination of improv, games, and acting for the stage. Improv is not only fun, but is extremely beneficial for developing more complex characters in scripts, as well as learning how to create stories and characters on-the-fly. Improv skills help the actor with listening, quick thinking, concentration skills and so much more. The camp culminates with the students performing live improv show ON STAGE for family and friends to enjoy!
Camp Dates: March 23 – 27, 2026
Times: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Class Size Limit: 14 Students
Food: Students should bring 2 snacks, a sack lunch, and a water bottle each day.

Showcase Location: Will be held at Colorado Springs Christian School auditorium.
Showcase Tickets: Tickets are not needed to attend the Showcase so families can invite guests to attend the performance without cost!
Costumes: Students will be required to provide their own costumes for the show. Most costumes can be created from items around your home or from Goodwill.

Spring Break Refund Policy:
If a student is withdrawn from Spring BreakCamp BEFORE March 1, the tuition will be refunded less a $100 non-refundable deposit.
If a student is withdrawn from Spring Break Camp after March 1st, no refund is given. However, if ACT is able to fill your spot with another student, then ACT will refund the tuition less the $100 deposit.

Military Discount*
Students who have a military parent qualify for a 10% discount.
Sibling Discount*
We offer a 10% discount for each additional sibling who participates in classes.
*Students may use only one discount per camp and all discounts will be applied to the equal or lesser value class.

Bob is thrilled to be on the team at the Academy of Children’s Theatre! Bob is currently a lecturer with The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Robert is a trained actor and a member of Actor’s Equity Association, The Screen Actor’s Guild, and The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. He specializes in comedic theatre training derived from his work at The Second City, Carnivores In Action, and Burnt Toast. He has worked as an actor and director at The Signature Theatre (NYC), The Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Theatreworks (Colorado Springs), Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, Tennessee Repertory Theater, and many more. Some of Bob’s favorite roles are, Falstaff-Merry Wives of Windsor, Scrooge-A Christmas Carol, The Complete Works of Shakespeare, John Adams-1776, Hook-Peter Pan, and Herod-Jesus Christ Superstar.
