During this fun-filled week, students will develop their acting skills through direct teaching, exciting improvisations, and preparing an original, one-act play called Mystery at Merrilark Manor! Something goes terribly wrong when the Grand Duchess with her Chancellor of Portugal visit Lord and Lady Merrilark for a formal dinner. The gathering is plunged into darkness for several moments, then it’s discovered that a priceless necklace was stolen off the Duchess’ own neck. Who did it? Could it be the two shifty servers who just appeared for work this day? Or the fading movie star? Or the ne’er do well young relation looking for another handout? Or the head chef or manager of the manor? The crime-solving triplets with the audience will be second-guessing in this original one-act comedy, Mystery at Merrilark Manor.
The camp week culminates with the students performing their play ON STAGE for family and friends to enjoy.
