Our Musical Theatre mini-class is filled with exploring, learning, having fun, being creative, working together, and performing. Students will explore a sampling of songs and dances from Musical Theatre productions and then perform in the studio on the last day of class for their parents to enjoy.
With convenient Saturday morning classes and only an 8-week time commitment, it is a great way to try out musical theatre!

Sophie Lowery is an actor, singer, and dancer who has been doing theatre for 12 years. She has a huge passion and love for being on the stage. Her credits include Newsies Jr. (Katherine Plumber), Annie Jr. (Grace Farrell), Matilda Jr. (Miss Honey), Guys and Dolls (Mimi), A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Rummidge), Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Les Fillies/Belle Understudy), The Odd Couple (Vera), Seussical Jr. (Who), Tuck Everlasting (Ensemble), and Cinderella (Featured Dancer). Included in her years of development, Sophie trained with Peter DeAnello in advanced acting and script writing. While continuing to perform in theatre, she is currently studying Criminal Justice with Forensic Studies at UCCS. Sophie has a passion for teaching and helping students develop their talents and grow as individuals. She has loved growing up at ACT and can’t wait for what is to come!
