Beauty and the Beast Jr. – Callback Information

Callback Materials listed below. Please review all of the Callback Materials that pertain to the character(s) for whom you have been called back (Acting & Vocal).

CALLBACK INFORMATION

Please wear clothing that you can dance in on Saturday, as well as comfortable closed-toe shoes. Bring water! You will want to bring a bagged lunch as well, in case you are at callbacks for the majority of the day. Be sure that you are familiar with all of the materials below that pertain to the character you are called back for, and print sides/songs as necessary so that you have a copy. Even if your name is not under Ensemble, EVERYONE is called back for Ensemble, so prepare those parts as well. If you have questions, please email [email protected].

Callback Schedule: Saturday, December 9th

Please be prepared to stay for the entire day once you have been called or to be “released” at a designated release time. Being released does not mean you are not cast; it just means that the Director has seen everything she needs to see from you to make a casting decision. There will not be a designated lunch time, but you are welcome to eat your lunch when you are not singing/dancing/acting. Don’t worry — you’ll have time to eat!

9:00-11:00: ALL GIRLS (be dressed to dance; be prepared to act/sing during this time as well)

–> First Release at 11:30am

11:00-12:00: ALL BOYS (be dressed to dance; be prepared to act/sing during this time as well)

–> Second Release at 12:30pm

12:00-3:00pm: GENERAL CALLBACK for all remaining (be prepared to act/sing during this time)

–> Please be prepared to be released between 2:00pm-3:00pm.
